Until recently, ventilating fans, heating elements or winding and forming components were the domain of metal engineering. However, modern manufacturing methods have made sure that today almost any geometry required can be implemented using ceramic and CFC composite materials. For this reason such complex shapes are now manufactured from graphite and CFC because of the typical advantages of these materials. High temperature resistance, low thermal mass, high purity, chemically inert behaviour and very high thermal shock resistance are fundamental advantages of these materials. With the help of connection elements made of CFC, modular structures can also be implemented and adapted to individual needs.
